You need to be able to find your notes and notebooks easily otherwise, there’s not much point in keeping notes at all! So, be consistent with naming your notes, notebooks and stacks for easy retrieval when needed. Set a Naming System for Notes, Notebooks and Stacks This allows a deeper level of organization, helps eliminate clutter and makes it simple and easy to find your notes later. Then you could create another stack for your work or association you are part of. For example, you can create a stack called “Personal” for your recipe notebook, to-dos notebook, book notebook or kids notebook to be under. Create Stacks for Your NotebooksĬreate stacks to hold numerous notebooks (which then have numerous notes inside each notebook) that are similar. Theme your other notebooks - for instance, ‘Webinar Notes’ or ‘Family Holiday Plans’ - and then copy relevant notes to these locations. Theme Your Other NotebooksĪs notes arrive in your default notebook inbox, you will need to organize them. Keep this notebook separate from your others - this will be your inbox, where your notes appear when you add them to Evernote, ready for further organization.
